Amie 12/98 update on Clover's new side story.
(Translated by Rabi)

This issue of Amie is the Christmas Special issue.  Cover is Clover's Suu,
dressed in white, hugging some 'flowers' that looks like white lilies.  I
mean 'flowers' as in, you know how they have metal(?) wings for birds and
such, well, these 'flowers' have metal-looking stems and leaves.  63
pages.

Turn the page, and the ad says,

"Big News!! Clover is being made into animation!!"  Small text says, "To
the fans of Clover, thanks for waiting!  At last, Clover will be made into
an animation clip!  Once the details have been set, we'll keep you posted
in Nakayoshi and the next Spring issue of Amie.  Filled with the beauty of
images, this image clip is nothing you have seen before."

"To the readers of Amie who have been supporting Clover, we'll show you
the Mr. Kitarou Kousaka's continuity and Mr. Nobuteru Yuuki's character
revisions layout!"  (And we see the a sketches of Kazuhiko (looks very
much like the X movie's Seiichirou Aoki) and a few of Suu's.  Also we see
some frames of animation sequences between Suu and Kazuhiko's encounter
and escape.)

"What kind of anime is this going to be?  Please look forward to it!"

ORUHA: And for you, here. (She kisses Kazuhiko's lips.)
(A beeping sound.)

GINGETSU: Yeah.
KAZUHIKO: Especially when my first break for a long while just started.

KAZUHIKO: (ruffling Oruha's hair) Especially, to me.  It takes away the

GINGETSU: I was the only one who got called(paged).
(Gingetsu means Kazuhiko doesn't have to leave.  Only Gingetsu got paged.)

CHUU: A Three-leaf Clover escaped.  It seemed he ran away from the
research laboratory on his own.  The two are not together, so he might
still be saved. Azuraito(who?) still did not notice, but the problem is
the congress/assembly.

(Oruha is sitting on Kazuhiko)

ORUHA: What kind of promise?
(Kazuhiko kisses Oruha's neck, while one hand is attempting to slide down
the spaghetti strap off the dress)
KAZUHIKO: That he won't die before me.
(Oruha kinda paused)
KAZUHIKO: Oruha?
ORUHA: Not to die before someone you like does is the best gift in the
world.

KAZUHIKO: Because I'm stubborn.
(He smiles.  She looks at him, and makes a fake smile, if one can call

SUU: (standing by the edge of the cage as if looking out of the window)

(five wizards gathering in a circle, one of them is that old guy.
"SOMEONE" could be same speaker in some cases, could be not.  I can't

SOMEONE: The Three-leaf Clover is still not found.
SOMEONE: Any new information after that?
SOMEONE: No.
SOMEONE: There are no changes at all observed in the other Leaf Three.
SOMEONE: Leaf Four knows about this, right?
SOMEONE: Of course.
SOMEONE: Leaf Two, more than Left One... Leaf Three, more than Leaf
Two... And then, there is Leaf Fouth, more than Leaf Three...

SOMEONE: Their powers increase with the number of leaves.  Those with few
leaves cannot feel the presence or the power of the others who have more
leaves than they do.  However, those with more leaves can completely tell
the abilities and whereabouts of the ones with fewer leaves. (Four

him down somehow.
